Wisper connects

and support teams

TELEGRAM TOPICS

Give every visitor a dedicated Telegram topic, so your team never loses context.

FAQ + AI

Answer from your FAQ first and optionally connect Ollama for smarter, grounded replies.

Turn your Telegram group into a live WordPress support desk: visitor chats, dedicated topics, FAQ automation and optional AI answers in one workflow.

SEND A REQUEST

Wisper connects your website visitors and support team in the Telegram workspace they already use.

A visitor opens the chat on your site; the team replies in Telegram; both sides see one continuous conversation.

Telegram Bridge

  • Dedicated visitor topics: Create a separate Telegram forum topic for every visitor conversation, keeping each request and reply together.

  • Shared-chat fallback: Use the same bridge with a regular group when Topics are unavailable; conversations still reach your support team.

  • Two-way close sync: Close a chat from the widget, with Telegram’s native topic action or the /close command; its status is synchronised both ways.

  • Reopen when needed: A returning visitor can continue the same conversation and its Telegram topic is reopened automatically.

  • Clear topic status: Open and closed topics receive a status marker, making the group easier for a team to scan.

  • Protected webhook: Telegram updates are checked with a secret token and an additional URL key before they are processed.

Live Chat Widget

  • Floating, minimizable chat: Visitors can open and minimize the chat without accidentally losing an active conversation.

  • Persistent conversation: The browser keeps the visitor session and message history through page refreshes.

  • Typing and read feedback: Show a typing state while the team responds and notify the visitor when a specialist message arrives.

  • Photo attachments: A visitor can attach an image after requesting a specialist; it is sent directly into the related Telegram conversation.

  • Optional call button: Display a click-to-call action in the widget when your support phone number is configured.

Widget Controls

  • Brand styling: Set primary and hover colours for the widget header, buttons and message interface from the plugin settings.

  • Position and offsets: Place the widget on the left or right and fine-tune its screen offsets around other site elements.

  • Working hours: Outside your schedule, Wisper shows an offline state and disables specialist requests while FAQ and AI can remain available.

  • Notification sound: Optionally play a short browser notification when the specialist replies.

  • Automatic closing: Inactive conversations can be closed automatically after the number of hours you choose.

FAQ & AI

  • FAQ first: Answer common questions directly from your own knowledge base before a human needs to step in.

  • Ollama integration: Connect an Ollama model through ollama.com or your own compatible server for AI-assisted FAQ answers.

  • Grounded answers: The AI receives your FAQ as its context and hands off instead of inventing information when the answer is missing.

  • Test before launch: Send a test request from the settings screen to validate the AI URL, key and model before visitors use it.

Specialist Tools

  • Quick-reply buttons: Add ready-made phrases that appear as tap-to-send buttons for your team in Telegram.

  • Unanswered-question list: Questions the FAQ and AI could not answer are collected and deduplicated, showing what your knowledge base still needs.

  • FAQ workflow: Turn gaps into FAQ entries, then maintain the knowledge base through the plugin admin screen.

  • Multilingual interface: The widget and settings support English, Ukrainian, Russian and German, with automatic language selection available.

Admin & Operations

  • Guided Telegram setup: Configure your bot token, group chat ID, Topics mode and a webhook from the WordPress settings page.

  • Webhook diagnostics: See the last incoming Telegram update and errors, so connection issues are easier to find.

  • FAQ import and export: Import and export the FAQ as CSV, including files prepared in Excel, to update a larger knowledge base efficiently.

  • Conversation statistics: View conversations today, the last seven days, currently open chats and closed chats in one snapshot.

  • Built-in safeguards: Rate limits protect public endpoints, with stricter limits for AI requests that consume your model quota.

Explore AI

Wisper connects the chat widget on your WordPress website with your Telegram support group. Visitors write on the site, and specialists can reply from Telegram.

For the per-visitor topic threads, you need a supergroup with Topics enabled. A regular group still works, but conversations fall back to one shared chat instead of separate threads.

Yes — just point the Ollama API URL setting at your own server instead of the cloud endpoint. Everything else works the same.

It does not have to guess. Wisper can use FAQ matching as a fallback, records unanswered questions for review, and lets the visitor invite a human specialist.

Closing a conversation from either side — the website widget or Telegram (natively, or with /close) — closes it on the other side too, with a single clear notification, not a duplicate one.

Yes. Wisper stores the visitor session and message history in the browser so an ordinary refresh does not reset an active conversation.

Yes — canned phrases you define in settings show up as tap-to-send buttons directly under the topic’s opening message in Telegram.

Yes, a “Test AI” button in settings sends a live sample question to your configured model and shows the response, so you can confirm everything is wired correctly before visitors see it.
